Today I went to the head office of ORGAN NEEDLES
Upon entering the gate appears a large space with parking and beautiful building.
After proceedings got in the car and headed for the exit
On one side of the gate output is a Pomegranate, in Europe they say the jewel, the result is a large tree
I remembered that I did years earlier a applique with this design and form a quilt, applique did garnet red with very small red cloth that could end very quickly.
The Quilt was a prize in the contest of Japan Quilt Exhibition.
A little nostalgic feelings…
It is thanks to the ORGAN NEEDLES wonderful memories I rise on a fall day…….Thank you…….
今日はオルガン針の本部に行ってきました。
門に入ると広々した駐車場と新しく素敵な建物があらわれます。
用事をすました後、車に乗って出口に向かうと
なんと出口の片側に
ヨーロッパの宝石と言われる大好きなザクロが堂々と大きな木に実っている。
何年前かキルトのモチーフにしてアップリケを作ったことがあり
その時のことを思い出しました。
赤い実を小さな布を使ってアップリケしたけど
小さくて縫うのが早かったの覚えている。
そのキルトはキルト日本展に入賞した。
ちょっとノスタルジックな気持ちが〜
秋の日に素敵な思い出が一つ増えたのはオルガン針のお陰です
